ABOUT US
"We believe that each child is unique, an intricate bundle of joy that our Creator has gifted to parents to steward to be a blessing to all around. As a husband and wife team, we believe we are uniquely positioned to partner with parents to create environments that will nurture the abilities of each child to reach his or her optimum gifting, through the vehicle of music."
- Dale & Yvette Goh

Dale and Yvette Goh established the first Suzuki Early Childhood Music program in Asia at Nurture With Love Suzuki Music School (Singapore) in 2012. Inspired by Shin’ichi Suzuki’s quote in Nurtured By Love, "There is no telling to what heights children can attain if we educate them properly right after birth", their intense search for an advanced and developmentally appropriate pedagogy for very young children led them to Suzuki Early Childhood Music Program. In 2016, they conducted the first Suzuki Early Childhood Education program at the 6th Asia Suzuki Conference in Bali Indonesia.
Dale did his Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) training with the founders of the program, Dorothy and Sharon Jones and also with Emma O’Keefe, who was one of the first to establish the SECE music program outside of the Americas. He did his Suzuki Piano teacher training with renowned trainers, Mary Craig Powell, Caroline Fraser, as well as Jane Reed, who specializes in positive parenting.
Yvette is classically trained through all levels of the Royal Schools of Music in both the piano and the cello. She has a Licentiate Performance Diploma in Solo Piano from Trinity College. She did her Suzuki Cello teacher training with Pamela Devenport, Suzuki Piano teacher training with Caroline Fraser and her Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) training with Dorothy Jones.
As parents of two young boys aged 10 and 7, both of whom are learning to play the piano and cello, Dale and Yvette have the wonderful opportunity to experience both the teacher's and parent’s perspective of embarking on the exciting journey of learning music with young children.
Dale and Yvette are both passionate in empowering parents to embrace their role in their child’s Suzuki music education journey and frequently conduct Parents as Partners workshops, believing as Shin’ichi Suzuki did, that “The education of a child should not start nine months before birth, but nine months before the birth of the mother.”
